Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect only what's necessary to run The Ski Finder. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and we don't share your information with third parties.

What we collect

• Email address — used to create and secure your account. Never displayed publicly.
• Username — chosen by you, displayed on your public profile and reviews.
• Gear logs and reviews — the skis you've logged, your ratings, written reviews, and photos you upload. These are public by default.
• Follow relationships — who you follow and who follows you, visible on your profile.

How it's used

Your data is used exclusively to power the app — showing your profile, your gear collection, and connecting you with other skiers. We don't use it for advertising, analytics services, or any purpose beyond running the site.

Where it's stored

Accounts and data are stored on Supabase, a hosted database platform based in the United States. Photos are stored in Supabase Storage. Your login session is kept in your browser's local storage.

Deleting your account

There's no self-serve account deletion yet. If you'd like your account and data removed, reach out and we'll take care of it promptly.
